2-Storey Apartment Complex Coolbellup
After this 16 apartment residential development gained Planning Approval, CADDS Consulting was brought on by the client to develop the Schematic Design and produce full architectural construction documentation, as well as assist with project management support.
The overall project objective was to reimagine low income and accessible housing design to meet standards of modern living, whilst maintaining a modest construction budget. The design includes 2 universally accessible apartments designed to AS1428.1, to increase the range of saleability for the units.
The aesthetic moves away from traditional “social estate housing” and embraces a modern multi-res development appeal, with flat roofs and parapet walls, custom-designed window awnings, and pedestrian accessways addressing the adjacent park.
