New office and apartment building in Leederville
Our architectural team of CADDS Consulting was engaged by a private client with plans to build a 4 storey mixed-use complex on Oxford Street in Leederville, comprising of office space on the ground floor and 15 apartments above, with basement car parking.
We worked with the City of Vincent on the feasibility of the project, and provided schematic options, site diagrams and conceptual elevations for comment. We then developed up the best and most feasible option for a Planning application.
The design includes 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, all stacked vertically around a central 7.5m wide communal courtyard. This design means we were able to ensure all inhabitable rooms and balconies had views, and large amounts of natural light entering the spaces from either the boundary side or the central courtyard.
