Survey Services Resources Project
This project involved the placement of several surveyors on a rotational roster to cover a civil construction project at RTIO’s Paraburdoo mine site.
RTIO engaged a civil contractor to repair several non-conforming access roads at their Paraburdoo site. CADDS Group was engaged by RTIO to provide surveying services to support the contractor.
We were able to mobilise immediately as we had several staff inducted at Paraburdoo, and were engaged to provide:
- Digital Ground Surveys to support the engineering design team
- Construction set out of the Issued for Construction (IFC) design
- As constructed survey services post-construction to confirm that construction had been completed in accordance with design.
This is similar to the survey requirements at the City of Rockingham and shows CADDS’ ability to quickly service a remotely located project with a constant resource for a 3-month period to help rectify dangerous site conditions. Several members of the CADDS team have had extensive experience with Local Government and MRWA projects, both for digital ground surveys and construction set out.
