VSUN VRFB (Residential)
VSUN Energy contracted us to conceptualise and design a modern housing for their new Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFB) for rural and residential use.
The design brief was to create a visually pleasing looking housing that can suit both modern and retro-style houses. With this in mind, we started by sketching design ideas and then narrowed it down. A few design were selected and evaluated taking in consideration internal space and components placement. The VRFB housing has also been fitted with lifting lugs and forklift tines slots for transport and installation, which has been load certified by our structural engineers.
