Eliwana Village Design
CADDS Group won the contract directly with FMG for the design of a new accommodation village for FMG’s greenfield mine, Eliwana.
The design scope included accommodation for 1,000 workers with rooms for expansion, all central facilities buildings design - kitchen/dining hall, wet mess and beer garden, gym, recreation area, sport facilities, administration facilities and all BOH service buildings.
The village was designed using “precincts” to emulate a resort-like feel to the master plan, encourage ease of use and wayfinding, and promote good mental health for residents.
CADDS Group completed feasibility studies and concept designs initially, with the project completed to IFT documentation and assistance provided to D&C contractors during tender stages.
